Podlanica

A central figure about our restaurant is our boat. This magnificent structure was constructed in 1935 and from 2008, it has provided a rustic and unique backdrop to our establishment. You get a unique dining experience with us because you eat on an actual boat.

Podlanica is run by me (Katarina) and my husband Rok. He takes care of the fresh catch and the cooking, while I’m the one responsible to take care of you while you wait for your orders. We take pride in creating flavorful dishes with local ingredients and fresh fish.

Despite our lean team, we’re able to offer the best home-cooked meals to our patrons in an intimate setting like no other! Everybody seats next to each other, and that always bonds people who were before strangers. Everybody makes new friends here and get to enjoying the warmth and care of a home-cooked meal.
